We also need to stop this child abuse at the state legislation level. A shocking bill is moving through the Washington state legislature this week. You can also use this link to send a respectful, peaceful, and firm message to your state Senator.
SB 5599 bill would allow minor children of any age to consent to irreversible puberty blockers and sex change surgeries without parental notification or consent. It would also allow health care services to remove a child from the parental home to enforce gender transitioning. The bill is scheduled for a hearing on 2/6 at 10:30 am. We need citizens to speak up in masses against this abuse of children and assault on parental rights. Minors cannot consent to irreversible medical procedures. Please share this everyone you know in Washington state, or with connections in Washington state.

Jennifer, after reading your article, I checked out most of the links and it took me an awareness of the level this 'movement' has reached. So so sad that this gender dysphoria is now 'cool' and on the high fashion runways. I want to see what these people look like in 30 years--if they even make it that far, with all the drugs they have to take. Yes, Big Pharma and the surgery/psychiatry/psychology industries are behind all this. Where there is money to be made, they're right there. I have a friend whose daughter's best friend is transitioning to a girl at age 16. My friend supports it. I have turned away from supporting the LGBT community because of this. It's wrong to mutilate one's body this way with surgery and drugs.
bad. sad. mad. those are the three words which come to mind about this butchery of humanity. bodies, minds, culture all on the chopping block. bad. sad. mad. followed by a chiming. wrong wrong wrong.
